Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Year 2 teacher at a fantastic primary school in West Norwood. The role is due to start in January and will continue through until July. There will also be the opportunity to remain at the school in the next academic year.

It is a 3-form entry primary school with a 'Good' Ofsted report.

They are looking for teachers with a positive approach to teaching and learning and a proactive attitude.

You would be working as a Y2 class teacher across all subject areas. There is an excellent TA in the classroom, and the Senior Leadership team can offer fantastic support.

They are ideally seeking a teacher with prior KS1 teaching experience.

Year 2 teacher - Job Responsibilities
*Ability to teach across all subject areas within Year 2.
*Plan, deliver and assess lessons throughout the UK National Curriculum.
*Provide 1:1 and small group support across a range of ability levels.

Year 2 teacher - Job Requirements
*Legal right to work in the UK.
*Hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
*Subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or overseas Police clearances (if applicable)
*Primary school trained.
*Excellent subject knowledge across all subject areas.
*Innovative and creative approach.
*Prior experience teaching in KS1.
