Fantastic school in a lovely residential area.

A good school in Perry Barr are looking for a Year 5 Primary Class Teacher to join their school for 2 terms. This is a lovely 2 form entry school in a lovely area with ample staff parking. There is a possibility of securing a permanent role from September 2018.

You will be teaching a class of 28 children who are of mixed ability. This is a fantastic role for either a NQT or an experienced teacher. Although the current teacher is not leaving until Christmas, there will be an adequate hand over for you. This is a good school where all the staff are supportive. The staff turnover is very low in this school. There are no behaviour issues and the school has a large outdoor area. There are low levels of SEND and EAL. The Head appreciate that teachers don't want to spend endless hours planning after hours, so they do use planning from the previous year and tweak it. You will have 2 very supportive Year 5 Teachers supporting you in this school.

The school are keen to support all of their staff with CPD, extra training and keeping you up to date with all the latest policies in Education and schools. The school are looking to keep employ a teacher on either a supply basis or a fixed term for one year. NQT support can be given if required from January 2018.
