A 1st Line IT Help Desk Agent is required by a forward thinking business supporting various 3rd party Businesses with their IT needs in and around the Norfolk area. The company has gone from strength to strength over the last decade and as such now require a support analyst to join their ever growing team.

You will be working on both first line and higher level second line tasks and will be mainly looking at problems and issues with servers, PC's and mail accounts along with providing support for all our clients IT needs. The role also involves system building and repairs in the workshop for new builds and equipment brought back to the office. It would of advantage if the candidate had prior experience with the installation of cables (inc termination) and Wi-Fi technologies onsite.

Essential Skills and Experience

- Experience of working with Microsoft systems such as Windows, Server & Outlook
- Experience of working on Second line support and higher level issues within IT
- Good communication skills

Skills that would be of advantage

- Network infrastructure installation (Cat 5\6, Wifi devices etc)

The successful candidate would be based out of their office in Dereham


In return this company is offering a basic salary between £18k to £20k per annum, company contributed pension scheme, 21 days paid holiday.

This role is for a candidate who wants to really move forwards with their career and start to work on high level support positions rather than just normal day to day support.
