About the role:

You will be office based in Hertfordshire with site visits according working with the Senior Technical Coordinator and Technical Manager. The project you would be working on is a Residential Development in East London comprising a grade listed building, 150 units and a high rise 26 storey tower block.

    Day to day interaction with consultants; chasing and providing information.Prepare and develop briefs by collating relevant information, as briefed by the Technical Manager.Manage day to day activities of external design consultants to produce detailed design package from approved planning drawings.Manage the day to day activity of consultants to prepare and submit Building Regulation package & ensure compliance with NHBC warranty conditions.Manage consultants to ensure discharge of planning conditions.Keep up to date with the progress of the procurement schedule and track consultants progress against the procurement schedule to ensure their timeline matches it.Assist Senior Technical Co-ordinator to ensure external consultants fulfil responsibilities under CDM Regulations.Provide information for the submission of external materials; considering visual, manufacturer and commercial aspects for approval of the Technical Manager.Follow technical procedures and feedback suitable and relevant improvements.Manage and minute package reviews.Manage the process of maintaining and updating records of design of the project to include drawings, registers, reports etc to share with the team.Ensure accuracy of technical information.Coordinate conveyance plans and legal packs for each project.Monitor the discharge of S106 payments throughout the project.Liaise with the Sales department and assist in the coordination of sales materials.Arrange and track package review meetings.Attend monthly project review meetings to ensure full integration of design process within the business.Make arrangements for pre-completion sound testing and air pressure testing to satisfy Building Control requirements.Update design in line with comments/updates from PRS agents, HA agents and commercial agents and inform the consultants if required.Prepare for and attend 121 meetings with Technical Manager.Provide weekly reports on technical queries and cost sensitive issues to the Technical Manager.Attend subcontractor pre-start and post-contract meetings to ensure they are correctly briefed.Visit site to ensure seamless transition from Design to Construction phase.Attend Project Team Meetings on site.Respond to technical queries from all departments and site.Actively engage in your role and department positively.Mentor and guide Assistant Coordinator.Set day to day workload with direct reports.
About the requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a technical role.Experience of working on a mixed tenure private/affordable apartment development.2 years’ experience of developing junior employees.Working towards Membership of a relevant professional organisation (e.g. RIBA, MCIOB etc).Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Basic knowledge of Auto CAD.Leadership skills including: Setting objectives,Giving feedback.A proactive, self-motivated and consciousness individual with a stable career history A perceptive individual who, through a natural diplomacy, can influence people in a changing environment.A clear thinking person demonstrating attention to detail who is well organized and can operate independently under a broad direction.A team builder who can develop and maintain good relationships and gain the confidence of other professionals both within the Company and outside.A broad thinker who can take a global view and has an inherent ability to ‘get the job done’.Residential experience either with a Main Contractor or Residential Developer Degree Qualification or equivalent

About the benefits and rewards:

The salary offered always depends on the level of experience of the candidate and their exposure to the relevant industry sector. In this instance they are looking to pay up to £65,000 basic plus package. The package includes:
