Baltic Training and Midshire Group are delighted to be recruiting for an IT Support Apprentice to join their team of technicians based in West Bromwich. Midshire Group have been established for over 25 years and have multiple offices based across the country. Due to the continuing growth they are seeking a motivated individual to complement their talented team.
Midshire are now recognised as one of the nation's largest technology resellers. Installing everything from desktop photocopiers to business telephone systems they ensure every job is done with absolute precision.

You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:
- 1st Line Support Desk - answering calls and providing remote support
- Hardware repairs with occasional site visits for hardware support
- Creating new user accounts/Emails/resetting passwords
- Monitoring servers
- General IT Maintenance and updates
Training to be provided:
- Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in ICT
- Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
- Network Fundamentals MTA
- Mobility & Device MTA
- Cloud Fundamentals MTA
- Business Processes
- C&G Coding and Logic
Skills and qualifications required:
- 5 GCSE's A-C grades, including Math's and English.
- Attention to detail
- Hardworking and motivated
- Experience in troubleshooting

Upon completion of the programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your training even further
Salary, hours and benefits
- £132 per week
- Full time 9am-5pm (37.5 Hours per week)
- Wage increments

Location and Travel
The role is located in West Bromwich, close to Kenrick Park. There are several and regular bus routes available and the office is just under a 15 minute walk from The Hawthorns train station.
