Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting a 18 month contract for a Systems Accountant with SAP implementation experience for a highly sought after employer in Bradford.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, as part of the Finance Process and Improvements Team you will contribute to the team's objective of delivering an outstanding efficient and effective SAP implementation for all the group, in particular the Finance module.

You will act as Subject Matter Expert to support delivery of SAP S/4 HANA implementation, liaising with Finance colleagues to escalate requirements and issues. Providing support to the team and sharing system knowledge with the wider Finance community. Responsible for providing SAP advice to the Finance Team, the Finance Management Team & Finance Business Partners, to ensure that all processes and design decisions are agreed and documented prior to submission. You will have an active involvement in UAT and support the roll out of end user training. You will support and adhere to working best practices and financial control procedures and proactively identify processes and activities. You will also lead and support and/or deliver ad hoc finance and SAP projects and provide support to the wider Finance team, when required. You will support compliance with all regulatory & statutory financial reporting obligations.

Experience:

-Demonstrate sound knowledge and experience of financial systems - SAP
-Strong understanding of SAP master data and how this integrates between other SAP modules
-Experience/knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and embedded BPC
-Recent use and experience of SAP Fiori Apps
-Strong understanding of Finance best practices. (System and processes)
-Experienced in working within a cross company project environment
-Ability to develop, maintain and leverage value from an internal and external network.
-Excellent communications skills, both oral & written, including the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial specialists
-Initiative to work unsupervised and prioritise in order to meet tight deadlines regularly
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a good attention to detail
-Strong Microsoft Office skills and knowledge
-Experience in leading / supporting system and process change projects
- Ability to work flexibly within a team
- Part qualified or qualified by relevant experience to the role
