Full Stack Web Developer

London, England, United Kingdom

Are you a knowledgeable Pythonista with projects under your belt, looking to take a leading role in a fast-growing company? If yes, then this could be the perfect opportunity.

My client is on a mission to find and track every striving, high-growth business in the UK. Our web platform is the number one source for data on these electrifying companies. As we increase our coverage and endeavour to make our product even more useful, you will be planning and delivering new and improved ways of storing, accessing, and analysing our data.

You will be working with a tight-knit, expanding team of dedicated Djangonauts solving some of our big problems.

You will carry 2-4 years of Python expertise and experience in server-side development with Django (or another Python framework). On top of that, you will need solid front-end development skills (HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript) and practice with Postgresql or other relative databases. We're also looking for someone to have experience in planning, monitoring and delivering development projects. Above all else, we're looking for a natural problem-solver with a passion for learning.

In addition, you are expected you to have one or more of these:

  • Experience working on large codebases
  • Experience building complex queries using an ORM (ideally Django)
  • An understanding in building and deploying web applications with Docker
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (EC2) and Linux

The Benefits

Once you're here, my client committed to continuing your learning and development. They have a great track record of internal promotion, and if you're interested in something you will have support with courses and conferences (e.g. DjangoCon, PyData) including monthly data science workshops as well.

My client is thrilled to have launched a substantial options scheme, giving you the chance to share in the company's growth and success. They also encourage a healthy working week and are happy to accommodate flexible hours.

Their calendar is filled with company events and all their people get a season ticket travel loan, a matched pension contribution and a multitude of other perks - not least the obligatory Friday beer (and soft drink) fridge.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply now or alternatively email an updated CV over to .
