Field Service Engineer – Guildford/Woking - EXCEPTIONAL COMPANY - £19,866 p.a. PLUS BENEFITS.

Purpose of the role:

The main purpose of the role is to carry out the repair, maintenance and installation of the pioneering and innovative products and equipment serviced by the Company.

This is a fast paced, constantly changing role for which the key deliverables will be to ensure that our products are installed, maintained and serviced, and our varied customers are totally satisfied at all times.

Full product and H&S training will, of course, be given.

Duties to include:

  • Repairing, servicing and installing all equipment to a high standard in accordance with the Company and ISO9001 procedures
  • Establishing and maintaining good customer relationships
  • Completing all call closure and necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Working to H&S legislation and regulations, and complying with legal framework
  • Maintaining your vehicle stock to ensure customers of a First-Time-Fix
  • Liaising with our Service Desk to ensure we meet customer & service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Maintaining your technical training to ensure adequate expertise
  • Adhering to Lone Working and Manual Handling standards at all times
  • You will be required to work occasional weekends

Person Specification:

Naturally, we are looking for key electro mechanical skills, good communication skills, as you will be on site interacting with customers, and a can-do attitude to getting the job done.

You will be confident in working to tight deadlines, dealing with changing priorities, and offer the necessary skills to be able to manage your daily workload. Knowledge of the ISO9001 standard would be advantageous, as you will be working to this industry standard.

The Benefits!

Your starting annual salary will be £19,866.

Standard hours are 45 hours per week – overtime is payable at time and a half.

You will also receive an extended hours allowance of £1,144 per year (for which an extra 2 hours a week is to be worked)
