The applicant will be expected to fully manage all the normal Purchase Ledger activities for a ledger with approx. 3000 suppliers.
Dealing with 8 centres, you will need excellent communication skills.
You will also need excellent time management skills to manage your own workload and those of the other members of the department.
You will be supervising 2/3 staff and the management and development of the Accounts Payable Team.
•A working knowledge of all Accounts Payable processes•Invoice processing•Statement reconciliation•Month End and Year End procedures•Working with managers to aid the smooth running of the Department and to resolve issues where they arise•Liaising with suppliers to resolve issues as they arise•Working with Head Office Managers / external agencies to provide information as required, e.g., for VAT or PAYE•Overseeing payment runs•Ad hoc duties as required•Controlling all matters regarding credit card submissions and processing
