Our client a well established manufacturing company based in Southend are looking for a recent graduate to join their team as a trainee PAE Process Engineer.
The role will require you to carry out technical investigations on customer repairs to determine whether they are a PAE (Potential Adverse Event). In addition, the role will support the Quality Engineer team in the QHSE department on the management & decision making of PAE’s. Secondary support will be provided to the Service Engineering group, carrying out technical evaluation investigations on customer repairs/concerns handling, repair QIS, and recent repair investigationsPAE Investigations:

·Carry out Technical Investigations on PAE’s

·Compile technical evaluation reports on the above investigations as part of the PAE process

·Support the QHSE department in the management/decision making on any PAE as part of the initial investigative stage

·Liaise with the Manufacturer & local MSBU team, to provide technical assistance in the PAE process

Repair QIS Investigations:

·Carry out technical evaluation on devices or repair parts under repair warranty to determine cause of failure

·Compile the QIS report and issue to the QHSE department

Customer Investigations/Concerns Handling

·Carry out technical evaluation on devices, repair parts or user handling/environmental conditions

·Liaise with the Service Engineering team to establish route cause of the failure

·Compile a Customer investigation report and issue to the relevant MSBU contact

·Complete recent repair investigations where the Quality Control department are unable to determine the root cause failure

This role will involve long periods of standing and on occasion you will be required to work unsociable hours.

Skills required;

  • Candidates must have clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to present information in a structured way to audiences of varied technical levels
  • Effective collaborator
  • Be organised and can plan/schedule efficiently
  • Must have excellent hand/eye co-ordination
Experience Required;
Candidates must have the following experience,
·Previous experience in a repair environment·Minimum GCSE level C in Maths & English

·Knowledge of mechanical construction

·BTEC Level 3 in General engineering (Mechatronics)

Working hours are 40 per week, Mon - Fri
