Claims Handler – Motor Belfast

On behalf of our client Cpl Jobs are looking to recruit an Claims Handler for their highly established and successful insurance company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Registration, handling and settlement of motor and damage claims.
  • Accurate and comprehensive recording of all transactions and decisions.
  • Compliance with company quality standards.
  • Compliance with Financial Conduct Authority requirements for claims handling.
  • Achievement of agreed targets in relation to all aspects of claim handling to include identification of fraud cases and progression of recovery files.
  • General administrative duties.

Key Requirements / Skills & Experience

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience of working within a customer facing role for a minimum of one year.
  • Candidates must have financial services experience
  • GCSE – Grade C or higher – in Mathematics and English.
  • Ability to demonstrate communication & negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work on initiative and manage own time effectively

Salary up to £18,000 pa
