An opportunity has been created at this long-standing company in the centre of Bolton for an experienced Bookkeeper to manage the company finances.

Available due to the current Bookkeeper taking retirement it's a perfect opportunity for anyone that is looking for a local firm that can offer a flexible working environment.
Supported by a team of administrators you will be using sage to produce weekly and monthly accounts for the Managing Director outlining the financial position of the business.

Having been established over 100 years the company is still run with family business values and therefore they are looking for individuals that will enjoy working in this culture.

Liaising with the accountants on a quarterly basis your duties will be varied and along with managing the finances you will also support in the general running of the office.
Because of this individuals must be flexible and prepared to support across other areas of the company.

The current Bookkeeper leaves at the end of March therefore the company is hoping to complete a hand over process over the next few months to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

Key Tasks will include: Bookkeeping to Trial Balance, Cash flow forecasting Monthly Profit & Loss reporting, Managing the company ledgers.
