PTP Payments Assistant - Interim /Contract - 6 months - £20-£25 per hour - North London

Wade Macdonald are currently recruiting for a well-established and long standing company who are looking for a PTP Payments Assistant to join their fantastic team. The role is based in North London and has excellent transportation links.

Main Responsibilities:

Month end reporting.

Accounts Payable Analysis.

Review and verify invoices in accordance to policy.

PO raising, processing and end to end PO process.

Checking and maintaining Accounts Payable mailbox and incoming post daily.

Maintaining and processing of direct debits.

Maintain key accounts.

Processing of invoices and scanning onto work-flow.

Ensuring Approvals and coding is received in a timely fashion.

Ensuring all of the necessary documents are attached for the AP Supervisor/Manager to post invoices.

Deal with supplier and internal account queries via telephone, email and fax and resolve queries promptly.

Prepare vendor set up information for master data record creation.

Adhere to and enforce accounting process disciplines, and manage responsibilities to strict deadlines.

Reconciling supplier statements on a monthly basis.

Perform payment runs (BACs, CHAPS, direct debits) and inputting of payments into HSBC.

Maintain a procedure manual of accounts payable tasks as a guide for backup assistance, when such assistance becomes necessary.

Required Experience:

Knowledge of PTP process.

Previous experience of SAP is ESSENTIAL.

Proficient in data entry and management.

2+ years accounts payable experience.

Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.

Working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Knowledge of any European language is beneficial, but not a necessity.
