BMS Commissioning Engineer (Trend)

A successful controls company is seeking to recruit a BMS Commissioning Engineer to primarily cover and the South East.

Company Profile

Specialising if the provision of full facility maintenance solutions, this company has established itself as a strong presence in the building services sector having operated for more than 15 years. They provide clients with design, installation and service solutions in the FM field (including building management systems and HVAC). Over the years they have developed a formidable reputation for reliability, quality and innovation and count some of the UK's leading local authorities and blue chip companies amongst their clients.

Headquartered in the North of the UK, they are establishing a large presence in London and the South East and are now looking to further strengthen their projects team. Role Profile

The successful applicant for this BMS Commissioning Engineer role will need to have knowledge (and training) of Trend Control Systems, ideally with the ability to write and modify software strategy and graphics. This role will require an engineer who is able to think on their feet and multi-task - working (as required) across several high value projects. This company delivers highly technical projects, with a number of them being delivered in hospitals, laboratories etc, and this role would suit a BMS engineer with experience of working in similar environments. They will be a reliable, self starter with excellent customer facing skills. There is huge opportunity for professional growth for a candidate who is able to successfully manage their own time.

This role would suit a highly experienced, Trend qualified BMS engineer who is a self starter. Projects are managed remotely, so the successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they have the technical knowledge to handle projects independently. Ideally you will be hungry for career development into management roles in the long-term.

Key Skills

  • Qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (to HNC/ONC or equivalent)
  • Experienced in the Commissioning of Building Management Systems
  • Qualified and experienced with Trend (ideally Trend Expert)
  • Exceptional understanding of integration protocols
