Our Client is looking for a new team member an exciting role as an Accounts Payable Assistant, this role will join their Finance team based on the outskirts of Cheltenham in the Charlton Kings area

The main purpose of the role will be to; accurately process purchase ledger invoices, employee expenses and petty cash claims; maintain supplier accounts including reconciliations ensuring timely payment; and respond to all Suppliers or internal queries in a professional manner. Candidates must have worked within a Purchase ledger role previously, due to the fast paced environment

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills/experience:

o Good understanding of Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable

" Happy to receive applications from candidates who hold AAT qualifications. - However it must be noted that there are no current opportunities for a quick progression route re Accounts - my client will happily offer study opportunities to further their Accounts qualifications but this will be a slow progression route..... (So please only apply if you are looking for a role with longevity)

o Candidates must be proficient using Microsoft Office packages especially Excel.

o High attention to detail and experienced in working to targets and set deadlines within agreed timescales.

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a full time, permanent position with a basic 37.5 hour working week.

Flexible working may be required to meet deadlines, as required by the business and where reasonable.

Candidates must have their own transport or travel from (Cheltenham , Charlton Kings etc) a near local area as public transport routes are not an easy option due to the location of this Client.

Hours of work are 09.00 - 17.00 Monday – Friday
