Our client within the care sector are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their busy team.
The successful candidate would need to be comfortable with working in busy, and sometimes stressful, environment. They would also need to be confident as the company supports vulnerable people so a caring, friendly and patient attitude is essential.
**£9.00-£9.50 per hour, 40 hour week, Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm, free parking**
About the role:
o Check the log in’s on a weekly basis to make sure all the correct working hours are logged
o Add new starters and clients
o Check all the clients have the correct purchase orders
o Create the pending invoice
o Submit the invoice
· Client Finance
o Prepping the Money Run
o Getting the money from the bank
o Petty Cash Spreadsheet
o Petty Cash Balance
o Updating Client Loans
o Updating Rent Logs
o Client Transfers
o EE Phone Account
o Setting up new phones
o Safe Account Checks
o Updating the weekly Spreadsheets
o Adding all new starters onto Sage Payroll
o Running the payroll at month end
o Dealing with Pay Queries
o Creating the new spreadsheet for the following month
o Liaising with HR with regards to issues etc.
o End of Year
· Annual Leave (Staff & Office/Management)
o Updating all Management/Office staff on the matrix & spreadsheet
o Approving all annual leave for staff
o Keeping a log of all the Staff annual leave and the amount accrued/approved/taken
o Updating the annual leave spreadsheet after payroll is completed
· Rents (Staff)
o Keeping the spreadsheet updated
o Paying in the Rent Money
· Agency Invoices
o Checking the invoice from payroll
o Putting through for payment
