Conference & Events Sales Executive

Up to £20,000 + Benefits

An opportunity has become available to join our client England`s leading Hotel and Resort. After a beautiful refurbishment they now have 319 bedrooms, Rosette standard dining, five Food and Beverage Outlets, fantastic Leisure facilities including their Unique Fire and Ice experience, 11 treatment rooms, Pool and golf course.

They are currently looking for Conference and Events Sales Executive to work in their fast and dynamic team.

The Role

  • You will work within the sales department assisting the Meeting and Events sales manager in delivering exceptional customer service to all clients at all times.
  • To manage Client / Agent account bookings in order to build and maintain relationships to ensure ongoing business with the hotel
  • To Undertake Day to Day enquiry handling and co-ordination of the business ensuring the hotel standards are maintained.
  • To achieve individual and team conversion targets.
  • Maximising upselling opportunities of all departments within the resort.
  • To arrange and conduct site trips to potential clients in a professional manner identifying opportunities to upsell throughout the show around.
  • To attend client FAM trips when required
  • Working closely with the client up to delivery of the event ensuring all details are communicated.
  • Complaint handling and resolution in a timely manner
  • To carry out administrative tasks
  • Any other duties that may be appropriate

The Ideal Candidate

The successful conference and events sales executive will demonstrate:

  • Minimum 1 years experience in a conference and event sales role within a hotel
  • Experience of both reactive and proactive sales to encompass all facets of the position
  • Due to the location of the hotel you will need to be able to drive as it is not serviced by public transport.
  • You may be required to work weekends in your role
