Robert Half Temporaries team are currently representing an exciting opportunity for a temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk in Northampton with the potential to go permanent. The company are a manufacturing business and you will be very much be an integral part of the team. The successful candidate MUST have experience of using the Accounting software SAP.

A well established global organisation with a reputable brand name with a local head office. You will be working in busy Purchase Ledger team of 5, where the benefit from a very low staff turn over, it is a lovely team, and the company really look after their staff.

Main duties include:

  • Purchase ledger
  • Inputting invoices
  • Dealing with miss allocated/ un-allocated invoices
  • Contacting clients and internal contacts to reconcile discrepancies
  • Invoice scanning
  • Matching invoices
  • Filing
  • Ad hoc duties
  • Month end processes


  • Hard working
  • Can do attitude - able to help others in the team during busy periods
  • Able to process a high volume of invoices quickly
  • Experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk
  • Must have experience of using SAP
