Baltic Training are excited to be working with Virtual Viewing to recruit for an Apprentice Software Tester to join their team based in Milton Keynes.
Virtual Viewing are an award winning studio who were established in 1995. They specialise in computer generated images, architectural and construction models, animations and apps. As a business they work towards three core values which are quality, partnership and results.

You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:
- Design and maintain test scripts for the application suite
- Configure Test environments
- Support UAT environment
- Carry out testing and work with issue tracking system to ensure that issues are resolved
- Liaise with development team on issues currently being investigated
- Work on replicating issues found in live software
Training to be provided:
- Systems Development Lifecycle.
- Software Applications Testing.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation.
- Design an effective Web User Experience.
- External Assessments, Synoptic Project, overview.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Good problem solver.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of Software Testing.

Upon completion of the 12 month programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your training even further.
Salary, hours and benefits
- £160 per week.
- Full time (37.5 hours per week).
Location and travel
Their office is located in Central Milton Keynes. There are a number of bus stops nearby and the local train station is a short walk away.
