A multi-award winning accountancy practice with a global presence based in Central London. The firm specialises in Audit, Tax, Accounting and Advisory and has a strong CSR programme where they give back to many charities and local communities.
Your new role
As the Billings Assistant, you will be supporting the manager in raising and issuing invoices and bills to the firm's multiple clients. You will also be processing write-offs and credit notes. The role is set to last for approximately 8 weeks with an ASAP start date. This opportunity has come about due to a number of re-structural changes within the team that now require an individual that specialises in billings to help them ease the workload. You will be using the 'Advance' software and all of the work is done electronically as it's a paperless team.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in an accountancy practice is essential due to the nature of the role. You'll also have experience conducting similar work, have knowledge of billing procedure, and you'll also understand the reason behind raising invoices and credit notes. Experience with the 'Advance' software is not necessary but would be a bonus (having used software in the past is essential as they want you to pick the software up quickly).
