The Role

We are looking for a field based Field Service Engineer to cover the South of England and join us in establishing a small team to support our customers and consumers out in the field. The role is truly field based so the successful candidate can be located in any area suitable for covering a Southern patch including London.

Responding to consumer service requests the role will involve assessing, repairing or replacing hobs, ovens, waste disposal units, cooker hoods and boiling water taps either in the end-users home or in 3rd party studio displays.

The Engineer will also be required to deliver training on our product range to our 3rd Party partners and Service Center franchisees.

Full product training will be provided.

Please note that the role will involve regular travel including occasional overnight stays. During the initial onboarding/ training period you will be asked to travel to our some of our facilities in Italy, and future, limited international travel for training may be required.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A recognised technical qualification in either electrics or plumbing
  • Experience of providing domestic in-home service including testing and repair
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, customer focused role
  • Experience of delivering technical training
  • Experience of defect assessment & reporting
  • Experience of using business operating systems e.g. SAP, CRM will be an advantage
A full, clean driving licence

Other skills:

  • PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrably strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to maintain a professional and pleasant demeanor at all times, even when dealing with customer conflict.
