We are searching for a Front End Developer to join a FinTech team in London working on a full rebuild of their core consumer facing React platform.

This position is designed for someone looking to master ES6 JavaScript and React. Initially, the successful Front End Developer will work with their existing engineers and design team to re-create their style-guide and re-write their CSS/UI framework from scratch. Whilst this project is being rolled out, they will be supported to continue upskilling in ES6 JavaScript and React to build the knowledge required to help them team completely re-build their main consumer facing React app.

From you, they are primarily looking for an advanced knowledge of modern approaches to CSS including pre-processors and ideally methodologies like BEM. Alongside this you will need experience with at least one JavaScript framework, some knowledge of React (personal projects/learning is fine) and a good understanding of ES6. You should know features like map, filter and reduce and be comfortable working with Promises.

In return, their existing team will back your learning and development towards becoming an accomplished JavaScript Engineer mastering React, Redux, ES6 and testing. They have their eyes on React Native projects in the future, the option is there to move into a full stack JavaScript role working on their Node API and they are even exploring how Machine Learning can be applied to their product.
