Maintenance Engineer
£25,000- £30,000 + Shift allowance DOE
Lydney based
Shifts : 6am- 2pm, 2pm- 10pm, 10pm- 6am (3 week rotational)

Our Client in Lydney is looking for a maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Working shifts they would like the newly appointment Maintenance Engineer to join their large and global company and be responsible for all plant maintenance on site.

The successful applicant will;
*Be able to organise and manage their own time
*Be able to work to own initiative and part of a team
*Ideally have experience or knowledge with Fabrication, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical circuits.
*Ideally have experience with Experience in computer PLC controlled systems.

The role will comprise of;
* Carrying out a daily inspection and maintenance of plant machinery.
* Carrying out weekly inspections of the whole plant as per requirement.
* Reporting any usages of stock items used and monitoring stock levels, so critical parts can be ordered in time for use.
*To liaise with supervision to ensure the plant is running efficiently.
*Carry out routine maintenance throughout the shift and during shutdown periods.
*To support the maintenance Manager in reducing all mechanical downtime.
*Develop and maintain strong working relationships with production team and management.
*Communicate with colleagues at shift change overs, reporting problem encountered of shift.
*Work a reasonable amount of overtime to cover holidays and sick leave
*Fill out daily report log sheet
