Our Client

We are working with a dynamic and well-established organisation operating in markets across the UK. Based in Tamworth, they are a rapidly-growing player in their sector. We are now seeking an additional Purchase Ledger Clerk for their finance team to join this expanding team.

The Role

The Purchase Ledger Clerk role is a great opportunity to join a business that is experiencing high levels of commercial growth activity. It will be a busy and challenging role for a candidate looking to extend their AP knowledge.

Specifically, the role will involve the following tasks:

  • Processing purchase orders and GRNIs
  • Resolution of supplier queries
  • Posting to correct codes
  • Verification of invoices and credit notes
  • Document scanning and preparation
  • Assisting with the preparation of information for payment runs
  • Ad hoc admin and sales support tasks

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be a valued member this growing function.

The Person

The successful Purchase ledger Clerk will ideally have a background in high-volume invoice processing, with a positive and enthusiastic personality, and a strong willingness to offer help and support to a busy team of people. This role will suit someone with a foundation knowledge in all areas of accounts payable, who is used to working in a busy office environment.
