£9 - £12 per hour dependant on experience
9am – 5pm Monday to Friday

I am recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a successful company based in Redditch. This is on a temporary basis to offer support as the company are experiencing a busy period. The ideal candidate must have Accounts Payable experience as my client requires someone who can fulfil the role with minimal training and offer support to a busy department.

Duties will include:
To apply for this role you MUST have previous Accounts Payable experience

• review and verify invoices and check requests
• sort, code and match invoices
• set invoices up for payment
• enter and upload invoices into system
• track expenses and process expense reports
• prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• prepare and perform check runs
• post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
• reconcile accounts payable transactions
• prepare analysis of accounts
• monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• maintain vendor files
• correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• produce monthly reports
• assist with month end closing
• provide supporting documentation for audits
