Robert Half have been appointed to work with a prestigious business in West Bromwich to appoint a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk.

The role of Purchase Ledger Clerk will be varied and busy, and duties will include:

Responsibilities:
*Match, batch, code and scan invoices
*Processing high volume invoices (250-300 per day)
*Control and reconciliation of supplier accounts
*Liaising with suppliers
*Daily reconciliations
*Good Excel skills, i.e. Pivot Tables and Vlookups
*Other ad-hoc duties

The Successful Candidate will:
*Have a previous track-record in a similar finance role is a necessity (6-12 months min.)
*Be confident in manipulating large volumes of data
*Be motivated, driven by successful results and have a flexible attitude to work
*Have a willingness to embrace and develop new skills.

This role will last up till February before being extended month-by-month upon successful performance. It will start ASAP and be based in West Bromwich.

The role will pay circa £9 per hour depending on experience.
