Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Burnley
Salary: Up to £20,000 dependant on experience

On offer is a Purchase Ledger role working in a hugely successful and well known company based in Burnley. You will have the opportunity to develop within the business at a rapid rate and support the team in controlling some very exciting accounts. My client is looking for a team player to join their already fantastic team to help support the business during this exciting time.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Match, batch and code purchase invoices
  • Ensure statements are administered in a timely manner
  • Perform payments runs (BACS, CHAPS, Cheques, Direct Debit)
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Resolve any queries that are raised by the supplier
  • Query resolution

You must have:

  • A good knowledge and understanding of the accounts Payable function with a minimum of 12 months experience in an Accounts Payable role
  • Strong Excel is required
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Ability to interact with employees and clients in a professional manner
