They work closely with just about every major high street optician, small chains and independent opticians nationwide. They have a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice to join the team as a branch administrator leading to becoming a recruitment consultant.. As an apprentice you will be offered ongoing training with the potential to further develop your skills. You will work in a fun, outgoing environment where there is a shared passion to be outstanding in their field of industry.

You will complete a work based Business and Administration qualification, which will last 12-15 months. Depending on previous qualifications you will also complete Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT in addition to a Technical Certificate.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·Dealing with customers on the telephone

·Dealing with customer and Client enquiries

·Being in charge of a recruitment desk

·Responding to emails

·Interacting with Directors

·Using MS Office applications

·Undertaking other clerical duties as appropriate to the role

·Networking/Meeting Peers within community

Skills Required:

·GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or above

·High attention to detail

·Strong keyboard skills

·Good verbal, written, numeric and customer service skills

·The ability to cope under pressure in a busy environment

·Good timekeeping

·Well presented and willing to learn new skills

·Excellent telephone manner

Working Hours - Monday – Friday,9am – 5.30pm

Salary - Apprenticeship salary of £3.50 per hour
