Opal Recruitment are recruiting for a Junior Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent full time basis for a client of ours based in Wakefield.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work for a forward thinking organisation and progress their career within accounting. AAT training will be offered to the succesful candidate to help them progress within the business.

Salary £15,000 + monthly bonus + excellent benefits

Main Duties:

  • Processing Purchase ledger invoices
  • Matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Dealing with queries
  • Processing staff expense claims
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Month end procedures
  • Dealing with an expense claims queries
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Person Specification:

  • Previous experience working with invoicing or purchase ledger is essential
  • GCSE Level Maths and English
  • Highly organised
  • Great attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Friendly attitude and approach to others
