Payroll Officer required to support busy Head Office Accounts function with high volume payroll process for a commercial business in Inverness, starting mid Feb 18 for 1 year fixed term contract, FTE Salary £18K - £20K

Main Responsibilities:

To provide a, timely, accurate, efficient and effective monthly payroll

• To process monthly payroll amendments including starters, leavers, contract changes, tax code changes and earnings arrestment’s.

• To collate and input monthly payroll data including timesheets and expenses claims.

• To prepare and apply maternity and paternity leave calculations.

• Process monthly payments and annual returns to employees, HMRC, pension providers and other external bodies

Ideal Candidate:

• A recognised payroll qualification or a recognised accountancy qualification or proven equivalent professional experience

• Recent applied experience of running a large computerised payroll
