My client is a highly recognised consumer brand which has been in existence for over 200 years, making it one of the most established and respected companies in the UK. They are a major player in the Seed and Garden Sundries market, enjoying excellent distribution amongst Garden Centres and Key DIY/Hardware outlets.
Their Seeds E - Commerce Department has a vacancy for an energetic, forward-thinking
experienced Customer Acquisition Manager to join there expanding internet services team.
Reporting to the E - Commerce Manager, this exciting role will offer the successful individual the opportunity to develop a career in e-commerce in an increasing internet market.

The job role

The applicant will become an essential member of the e-commerce department working alongside their team to create and nurture 3rd party and affiliate relationships to promote the product portfolio, increase sales and ability to develop fresh ideas to fit with the requirements of the business. Tasked with developing and driving new online relationships for the website the Customer Acquisition Manager or get 'em to visit manager? will contribute to the success of the department and increased web sales. We will be looking for someone with the capability to drive the business forward, seeking opportunities where ever possible, who has a strong background and proven experience in account management.
This is a key exciting role for someone who has ambition, passion and drive within this ever-changing IT world. An obsession with analytics and an ability to argue the point in sound analytics is what we are truly looking for.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the key resources to drive customers to the online buying experience with the establishment of key traffic-driving partnerships online to include Paid Search (PPC) and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
Online and offline to drive store to create awareness, promote seasonal buying opportunities and merchandise multi-channel prospects.
The ability and knowledge to choose and recommend selected affiliates and utilisation of Social Media and Social Media Engagement.


Analysis of campaigns


Identify, recruit and develop affiliate relationships
Drive incentives to meet KPIs
Communication with partners
Accountability for all affiliate budgets, admin and delivery of campaigns
Analyse and evaluate campaigns
Liaise with stakeholders at all levels to communicate on results
Deal effectively with sites and other 3rd party avenues

Uniques by source eg number from partnerships/ number from search and number from Social Media
Cost of paid search and customer acquisition
Click through rates on advertising
