Full Time

Fed up of worldwide travel? Our PLC Automated machinery manufacturer designs machines for the UK food, pharmaceutical, automotive and manufacturing sectors, they have a full order book, and need an extra Commissioning Engineer to install these systems.

Travelling, working on sites IS the job, but 90% of the work is in the UK. Yes, there might be stays away when commissioning in Wales, Scotland, North or South England, but with a solid bank of customers within 2 hours of the East Midlands base, this is less than you would expect.

The Company designs PLC and Robotic machines, materials handling, special purpose machines to automate production in many fast manufacturing fields from car doors to ready meals. Your experience might be as a Commissioning Engineer or Maintenance Engineer with experience of installing, maintaining, setting machines to work, PLC software modification and diagnostics, electrical or mechanical engineering and fault finding on machines to get them working, installed, trained up and handed over to the new factory site. Pre-commissioning, testing, checking the machines before they leave the Company's East Midlands site. That's the job.

The company plans for future growth, and with an order book stretching well into the future, can offer a stable future. If you like machines, problem solving on them, working with PLC's, conveyors, handling systems, real-world work, you'll love it here.
