Experienced Sales ledger /Billings clerk to work in Borehamwood,Herfordshire

Dynamic Business Services company based in Borehamwood Hertfordshire urgently require an experienced Sales ledger /Billings clerk to work in a busy and lively office for at least 6 months .
Reporting to the Accounts manager ,the ideal candidate will be immediately available and have previous experience in a fast paced B2B environment. You should also have had practical exposure to P & L ,Balance Sheet and Multi-Currency transactions.

Specific Duties will include

  • Setting up customer statements of work and ensuring PO's received
  • Preparing and issuing monthly invoices based on consultant's timesheet and bookings
  • New business billing, deferred and unbilled revenue
  • Annual renewals billing, working with the CSM Business Analyst
  • Uploading invoices to customers procurement portals in a timely manner
  • Dealing with all invoice queries to resolution,
  • Monthly professional services revenue reconciliation, accrued and deferred income
  • Assisting with the preparation for the annual audit and provide support and back up to the Finance team at month end

Skills required

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Strong computer skills including including excel
  • International transactions and muti-currency payments
  • High volume sales ledger /billings experience
  • Good understanding of accounts and general bookkeeping
