Based on the outskirts of Crewe, this growing and developing company is seeking a qualified accountant to join their finance team as Financial Analyst. This is a permanent full time Analyst position and will support the senior finance function with acute analysis.

You will be providing succinct reports to senior management teams, assisting with analysis of pricing and profitability along with many other duties. You will be working closely with finance colleagues in this large, multi-site national company.

The Analyst Job

This Finance Analyst Job would suit someone who has previously had experience of working within a fast paced and dynamic environment. This position will require you to liaise with colleagues, senior management and external stakeholders on a daily basis, therefore you will be naturally confident.

As a Finance Analyst you will be responsible for preparing budgets and forecasting cash flow, re-forecasting following variance analysis and investigation into mitigating factors. Additionally you will be producing key monthly group board reports as well as reviewing monthly management accounts. Financial modelling will play a part in this role, in particular when considering future business development and you will take a key role in analysing profitability, pricing and accounts reporting.

Due to the requirement to work with information produced from Management Accounts, experience of working with management accounts would be beneficial. ACCA or CIMA qualification or Part-Qualification will be considered.

As with all roles you will be required to assist with other duties as and when required; for instance covering sickness or leave. There is an expectation that you will forge solid working relationships with colleagues and this is a key driver for this position; you must be able to persuade and influence as well as be approachable. You will be demonstrate good judgement and will be willing to consider alternative viewpoints and work closely with team members.
