We’re seeking a methodical yet dynamic Finance Analyst to support the financial performance of our Barnstaple Operations Site by conducting robust financial planning and reporting, and by ensuring effective financial control procedures are in place and operating efficiently. Working across our annual and monthly business cycles, you’ll contribute to all annual budgeting and monthly re-forecasting activities (including spend analysis and budget tracking), compile monthly financial results for the Operations department and conduct the relevant analysis to maintain a current and consistent view of departmental performance, in-line with Group reporting requirements. From this information, you’ll produce clear and easy-to-understand reports (including first class analysis, bridges and commentary) which you’ll communicate to your key stakeholders through written and presentation formats for set deadlines. Working in a Business Partner model, you’ll deliver an excellent and responsive customer service to your client group at all times – additional tasks may include requests for ad hoc information or support with budgeting, forecasting, reporting or control activities. In addition, you’ll work closely with our Operations FP&A Manager and the broader Finance team to support wider projects, as required. The Person:
With sound experience in a similar role, or possessing solid experience in a financial background and ready to take the next step up, you’re highly numerate and analytical with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Ideally, you’ll hold, or be working towards, an accounting qualification (e.g. AAT, part-qualified CIMA / ACCA), and have some experience working in a large manufacturing organisation. As a person, you’re well organised with the ability to plan and manage your own workload, including prioritising multiple tasks to meet set deadlines. You’re used to working in a busy and changeable work environment, and able to maintain a good attention to detail at all times, even under pressure. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’re a good team player, happy liaising at all levels of authority and able to navigate cultural differences with ease. You possess good IT skills, including experience across the Microsoft Office suite and use of a range of company systems. The Rewards:
In return, we offer a competitive salary package (with bonus scheme), a generous pension scheme and 27 days’ holiday per year (plus bank holidays). We also offer a range of other benefits to support our team, including childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, subsidised restaurant facilities, sports and social club and healthcare options. Not to mention the opportunity to be part of a progressive and expanding business with increasing global reach, and the support of ongoing training and development. How to Apply:
