Your new company Hays are currently working in partnership with a nationally recognised organisation. They are one of the largest globally recognised corporations in their specialism, and due to the size and growth of the company they are looking for a driven Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their excellent finance team at their Birmingham office.
Your new role
Within this role you will be reporting to an experienced Management Accountant, where you will be expected to prepare BACS payments, code invoices and posting to ledger, perform monthly reconciliation of supplier statements, liaise with both suppliers and budget holders, code expense forms and post to ledger.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will need have previous purchase ledger/ accounts payable experience, as well as being an excellent communicator who will be able to work well within the team. You will also need experience with accounts software, excel, BACS and be able to work in a busy work environment.
What you'll get in return
In return you will be offered a competitive salary of £19,000 - £22,000 dependant on experience. You will also gain the opportunity to work in an excellent finance team, reporting to an accomplished Management accountant within in a market leading organisation, as well as having the option for a number of company benefits.
