Reporting in the Head of Redemptions, you will be responsible for working towards the recovery of impaired, fore born and defaulting loans. You will be required to effectively manage loans in arrears, adhering to the process at all times and ensuring customers are treated fairly. You will additionally be responsible for providing direction and guidance to the Redemptions Team as well as assisting with Post Completion Management and Redemption of the Loan Book.

Day to day duties will include:

·Taking responsibility for loans in arrears or complex loans and providing support on loans managed by the Redemptions Team.

·Instructing asset managers, administrators, receivers, valuers, litigation solicitors and third parties as appropriate.

·Chasing outstanding loans in accordance with Redemptions/Recoveries procedures.

·Chasing clients and brokers for proof of refinance, sales and associated completion dates.

·Arranging loan extensions after careful consideration

·Reviewing reports/ valuations received and suggesting a course of action on the loan following analysis.

·Actioning loans within mandate – outside of mandate, making recommendations for a course of action and referring to credit committee for approval.

·Taking litigation action where required and drafting litigation letters.

·Attending client meetings and taking detailed and accurate minutes.

·Obtaining approval for miscellaneous costs.

·Recoveries Administration

·Preparing MI reports

·Preparing reports on provisions and forbearance

·Updating the Collections Report and Post Redemption Stats

·Answering the phone and dealing with any issues.

·Making suggestions to improve processes and associated documentation

·Providing training to the Redemptions Team where required

·Drafting loan management, extension, default and other letters in accordance with standard procedures.
