We are a leading Mortgage company specialising in the buy to let mortgage sector seeking an additional Mortgage Services Administrator. You will be working as part of our busy support team who manage and deal with all aspects of post completion activities and processes relating to existing residential and buy to let mortgages. You will be working Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm with free parking, 25 days holiday, annual bonus and full benefits scheme with a generous salary of up to £27k.

Our Mortgage Services Administrators take ownership and manage the customer journey through early identification of financial distress by pro-active contact, limiting the escalation of arrears which result in litigation. Through the litigation process, you will manage accounts via Receiver of Rent, Power of Sale and possession action resulting in sales which mitigate loss and ensure compliance and adherence at all times to the 6 TCF principles, and all other regulatory requirements.

The main duties of the Mortgage Services Administrator role is as follows:-

Provide a prompt and comprehensive telephone or written response to all customer queries.

Communicate with the customer in a manner that is fair, clear and not misleading.

Identify potential financial distress through ‘triggers’ and implement forbearance measures at the earliest opportunity.

By proactive contact with customer’s in financial difficulty endeavour to reach a sustainable solution for payment to prevent litigation.

Operate within the prescribed mandate structure escalating when necessary.

Make use of field agents where appropriate.

Work closely with all 3rd party providers.

Ensure account notes and statuses are relevant accurate and up to date at all times.

Identify a possible complaint case and strive to satisfy customer grievance promptly.

Liaise with other departments within the Company to ensure optimum service for the borrower and to minimise risk for the Company.

Demonstrate flexibility and adapt to changing priorities

Evaluate the current work processes and procedures and look for improvements

To be successful you should have knowledge of the whole mortgage life cycle and ideally some arrears exposure. You should be looking to utilise your mortgage experience within a busy customer operations role liaising with our customers by phone, email and letter within strict industry guidelines and procedures.
