Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are delighted to be working with an award-winning firm of Accountants who, as a result of continued growth within the business, are now seeking to recruit an experienced and driven Accounts Senior to join their Northampton office.

The successful individual will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, and be responsible for the preparation of year end accounts, management accounts, and the associated Tax computations in line with all relevant deadlines and to the highest possible standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation Tax computations
Management accounts preparation
VAT returns & bookkeeping
Business administration
Reviewing the work of junior staff
Dealing with ad hoc client queries
Building strong client relationships

Skills:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified/ Finalist
ACA/ ACCA Part Qualified/ AAT Qualified/ Qualified by experience also considered
Practice experience essential
