Managing a team of 5 Team Leaders and Maintenance Technicians you will drive and delivers the people agenda within own department. You and your team will ensure maintenance and optimal efficiency of the production plant, equipment, facilities and systems and ensure that the site complies with Arla Foods engineering specific standards and policies as well as the applicable law.
Working collaboratively with the production managers on site to ensure high performance in all areas. You will manage and document maintenance activities ensuring quick responses in recovering production facilities in case of breakdown. You will prepare, negotiate and manage contracts with service providers in accordance with applicable policies and deliver input relating to investment needs for the site. In addition, you will participate actively in and contribute to global maintenance forums to ensure alignment and learning between sites.

The successful candidate will have experience in a maintenance management role gained within a fast moving manufacturing environment, preferably food. You will have a strong aptitude for financial control and previous experience of managing budgets and an understanding in support of the site maintenance forecast and project management.
Recognised as a leader of people, you will have a proven track record of coaching and developing others and delivering results through your team. An understanding of continuous improvement and lean methodologies is desirable. This is a senior position on site with the potential for future progression to site directorship and therefore it is essential that the successful candidate has the proven ability to influence the site and management team.
