Senior Project Engineer
One of the United Kingdom's leading providers of engineering project management and design services into a range of industries such as Energy and Food is currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to play an integral role in their delivery of major customer projects. Scope of work
As Senior Project Engineer, this role will incorporate a blend of both technical engineering design work and project management. Through the provision of tailored engineering design solutions in accordance with client requirements, you will be responsible for providing a consultative service when visiting clients at project conception, understanding the full extent of their requirement before devising a design proposal. Utilising your experience of PLC & SCADA design, you will ensure project deliverables are met through the production of engineering specifications and scopes of work. You will also ensure the project remains profitable with control of capital expenditure and remains in-line with agreed programme dates.
This is a role that offers variation across different projects and sectors as you liaise with customers regarding their requirements and devise innovative electrical design solutions.
- Possess experience within automation
- Have experience of PLC and SCADA design
- Have experience of HV/LV Distribution Systems
- Ideally possess experience within the renewable energy, food or pharmaceutical sectors
- Be able to liaise with customers in a client-facing role, providing consultative design solutions
- Be able to travel across the UK as, and when, required to visit client facilities.
- Be able to commute to their West Midlands facility regularly
Having been established for over 30 years, this organisation is a leading provider of engineering project management and design services into a range of industries, servicing some of the industry's leading names. They work on a range of projects ranging from factory construction to installation of process equipment.
The company is paying a basic salary of between £35,000-£45,000 (depending on experience) with bonus, car allowance, single-cover private healthcare, contributory pension and 23 days holiday + 8 stats. There is also an additional health benefit for requirements such as dental, physiotherapy and chiropractor appointments.
