Purchase Ledger Clerk - 12 months Maternity cover

Based: Bolton, BL4

Salary: upt to £24,000 + benefits

I am working with an excellent client of mine based in Farnworth who are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a 12 month contract basis. Lovely, fast-paced, expanding company where I placed 2 other staff members just last year due to growth.

This role will be covering maternity on a 12 month basis with excellent opportunities to go permanent thereafter. Ideally you will be immediately available or working on a short notice period.

Role:

  • Processing of invoices - matching and gaining authorisation internally
  • Processing expense claims - including cash and credit cards
  • Bank reconciliations - managing petty cash
  • Management of weekly and monthly payments forecasts alongside Manager
  • Liaising with the Purchasing department - setting up payment plans for suppliers
  • Manage Credit enquires and assisting Credit Controller when required
  • Preparation of Sub-Contractor returns
  • Management of Purchase Ledger accounts and transactions - ensuring full reconciliation

Experience:

  • Strong Office Excel skills
  • Purchase Ledger Experience
  • Experience on SAGE is desirable
