AV Installation Engineer (Corporate).
Our client is a highly regarded and forward thinking audio visual integration company based in the South East. They are currently recruiting for experienced audio visual installation engineers with experience in a corporate environment to join the team.
Purpose of the role.
To Install Audio Visual & Videoconferencing equipment in various corporate sites. This will typically be boardrooms, training rooms, conference rooms etc.
Job Description.Perform installation work for AV Systems within the budgeted number of hours and to the required quality levelsCable running and management, fitting trays, trunking and baskets successful auditsInstallation of AV projects to completion, and managing of sites as necessaryLiaise with Project Engineer and Project Manager on Project technical aspects, and an ability to liaise with the client or main contractor as necessaryFlexible approach to project changes on site - escalating changes and variations to the Project ManagerAssist in the project commissioning as necessaryEssential Skills and Experience Required.
The successful candidate will have proven AV / VC installations experience in a corporate environment and possess the following skills:To have a good understanding of 1st and 2nd fix AV installationsHave excellent soldering, crimp and terminating skillsIdeally some understanding of troubleshooting with Crestron and AMXBe a good team member, as well as being able to work on own initiativeAbility to carry out installation activities on time, on spec, and to keep to the budgeted number of hours for each jobBe organised, flexible and able to approach different types of tasks during the working dayAbility to work from instructions from Project Engineers and Project Managers, but also to think laterally and suggest engineering solutions on siteTo be able to work from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans and projector drawingsA full driving licence is essential.Candidates must also be willing and able to work both in London /South East and occasionally on customer sites in UK and Europe.
