We are looking for a Year In Industry Community Energy Operations Undergraduate Engineer to join our team in London. YII - Community Energy Operations Undergraduate Engineer Community Energy (CE) within E.ON delivers low carbon district heating solutions across the UK. As an undergraduate Community Energy Operations Engineer, you’ll gain an in-depth understanding as to how we produce heating and hot water to some 18,000 customers.
What you’ll do
This is a Year in Industry placement where you’ll provide support to managers, engineers, control room operators and field engineers. You’ll carry out four rotations within the operations side of the business to experience all aspects of this fast-growing business. This includes:
•Evaluating and monitoring performance – of our current sites, new sites and the teams
•Putting forward suggestions for improvements
•Assisting in all aspects of asset engineering
•Supporting the team with maintenance engineering
•Getting involved in commercial management – from planning, to report writing and revenue checking.

•You’re working towards a 2:1 in an engineering discipline.
•You’ll need to be interested in the renewable and / or low carbon energy business.
•You are confident in putting forward your ideas and a great communicator.
•You are naturally highly motivated and driven.

This role is based in London.
