Client Details

Our client are in the professional services industry and looking for assistance to manage the litigation and bad debt provision side of the business.

Description

Within the role you will be accountable for:

We are looking for someone who is capable of supporting and facilitating the drive to improve the working capital position of the firm as a whole. This will mainly come from assisting in the maintenance of the firm's work in progress by working closely with fee earners. You will build strong working relationships with fee earners and informally coach them to enable them to achieve financial objectives.

You will be expected to ensure that all work in progress write offs are processed in line with business policy and to attend practice groups/meetings to raise the profile of work in progress management. You will also help assist with the reduction of unbilled time and disbursements through proactive discussions with fee earners.

We are looking for an individual who has a flexible and spirited attitude to their work who has the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

You may also need to travel to other offices to discuss matters with the wider firm.

Profile

A 'can do' attitude that has had experience in the professional services industry. You will also have experience in either Finance or credit control with knowledge of bad debt provisions and write offs. You will also be confident with face to face meetings.
