My client is a leading Logistic/IT based company, situated in Manchester City Centre. They are looking to expand their accounts team of four, with the addition of a well-rounded Assistant Accountant who enjoys working as part of a team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly Bank Reconciliations

  • General Ledger duties (Purchase/Sales/Credit Control)

  • Take control of more complex queries and tasks

  • Posting journals, accruals, prepayments

  • Review financial statements and reports

  • Supporting other team members, working collaboratively

  • Make suggestions for business improvement

  • Maintaining the fixed asset register and reconciling fixed asset additions/disposals

Ideally you will have strong ledger based experience, specifically Purchase Ledger in particular. If you have used Sage and you are comfortable with excel this will be highly beneficial.

The salary for the position is between £20,000 - £23,000 with a number of unique benefits.
