Our client who is a market leader within the Financial Services and Insurance Industry is keen to strengthen their Motor Claims Handling team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of Ipswich’s leading businesses based in the town centre.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for assisting the current Claims Manager, but after training you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of claims dealing with the full process including notification, agreement, collection and settlement but you will also be involved in first notification of loss, triage, 3rd party and PI. You will also be liaising with specialists including underwriters, loss adjusters and lawyers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

·Handling and providing advice on the complete process including the settlement and payment of claims.

·Carefully manage the claims negotiation process with clients, underwriters and or their appointed legal representatives and or loss adjusters.

·Coordinate discussions and, where appropriate, meetings to ensure superior level of communication between the client, underwriter and their representatives concerning the proposed settlement

·Negotiate the payment and settlement of claims with clients and underwriters.

The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level. Previous claims experience is preferred, however is not essential as candidates with a keen interest in building a career within the Industry will also be considered.

The successful candidate will be confident in handling and organising workloads and a strong communicator.
