Working in the heart of Croydon, we are looking for a Temporary Sales Ledger Clerk to work within this fast-paced environment.

About The Role
This Sales Ledger Clerk position is on a rolling contract basis and will be focused on the Sales Ledger activities with some exposure to the Credit Control function. As the Sales Ledger Clerk, your main duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Setting up and screening new clients
  • Producing the sales invoices
  • Reconciliation of payments with accounts and bank records
  • Production of statements relating to the sales ledger
  • Resolution of queries, rebates and associated filing
  • Checking the correct VAT levels are invoiced
  • Providing creditors with VAT receipts
  • Supporting the credit control function

This role is working in central Croydon, within walking distance from the main line stations. You will be working within a fun and growing business that has every possibility to make this a permanent fixture within the team should you so wish.

About You
We are looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk, NOT a Credit Controller! We need someone that has raised the invoices, produced the Sales Ledger statements and completed the reconciliation of statements. This is a temporary position initially, but will have every possibility to be extended or even turn into a permanent position. You will be immediately available, or available at short notice (1-2 weeks). Please ensure that your application reflects your Sales Ledger experience.
