Robert Half Finance & Accounting are actively partnering with an incredibly well-known FMCG brand based in Esher to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk. The role is being offered as an ongoing temporary assignment.

The successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will be a confident and detail-orientated professional, able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure all invoices received are approved
  • Code and Post invoices/credit notes
  • Ensuring adherence to procedures and payment terms
  • Query resolution
  • Statement Reconciliation
  • Liaising with a range of external suppliers
  • Making payments
  • Meeting deadlines


The successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will be able to display sound experience within an accounts function, ideally performing with exposure to the Purchase to Pay process.

Relevant system experience is not essential, but intermediate excel skills are essential.

They must have displayed experience working in a high-volume environment, whilst being attentive and accurate.


The client are a leading British brand in the world of Fast Moving Consumer Goods. Their products are instantly recognisable and their reputation is incredible. The role is based in their head office in Esher.

Salary & Benefits

£11 to £13p/h dependent on experience; onsite parking; other benefits details on request
