Our client is a real success story. Â As an integral member of the Finance team on site, reporting to the Group Accountant and the wider Operational management team on site they are recruiting this new role. This is a key role in the broader management of the finance team and the commercial requirements of the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
Daily running of finance department and workflow of direct reports
Reporting as required to Group Accountant
Production of the monthly management accounts to agreed time scales
Preparation of information required to assist auditors with statutory audit
Preparation of budgets, forecasts and other financial reports as requested
Purchase Ledger receipts processing
Management of credit control
Management of cash flow
Company payroll and associated inland revenue compliance
Company VAT and associated Inland Revenue compliance
Ensure all processes meet with Quality System procedures
Maintain and report agreed department Key Performance Indicators
Any ad hoc duties as and when required by the Board
The client is ideally looking for a Qualified/latter stage studier or someone who is QBE and demonstrates all the skills, experience and attributes required of a Management Accountant/Finance Manager in an SME environment. You will be extremely confident, pro-active and have solid exposure to preparing management accounts gained within an owner managed environment, with advanced Excel skills. Ideally ACCA/CIMA/ACA/AAT/QBE Qualified/Part Qualified, but not essential.
